Southern Beauties & Beaus is so happy to invite you to our sister pageant “World’s Precious Children”. You have a special invitation to attend our 2013 National Pageant .

This year, WPC will be held at the beautiful Hilton Atlanta Airport Hotel in Atlanta, GA on May 17th, 18th, & 19th, 2013. Our World’s Precious Children Pageant is dedicated to all God’s Children and recognizes the importance of adoption and of every child having a happy home.

We adopted our daughter “Malia Eliana” in March 2002 from Guatemala and our daughter “Maci Isabella” in June 2004 from Guatemala. God has really blessed our family with these two little girls.

There are so many precious little children still waiting for their forever families. Please call me at (256) 352-4615 if you have any questions regarding adoption or if you have any questions regarding the pageant.

In beauty at WPC, approximately 50 percent of your score will come from facial beauty. In this pageant, you can wear dress of your choice. A flower girl dress for this pageant will be fine, however, which dress (glitz or flower girl) you choose to wear (as long as it looks and fits well) will not influence the judges scores. I tell the parents to put on your child what you think makes them look the most beautiful.

Hair/Makeup, flippers, etc. are allowed, however let your true beauty shine through. Our national crowns are simply gorgeous. They feature children from around the world. These crowns are very colorful and are one of a kind. Please make plans now to attend!!! Every contestant will receive a Build-a-Bear & outfit for their bear. These bears are stuffed with love at the Build-A-Bear Store. They come in their own special gift box. Contestants of all ages will just love them.

THIS YEAR, WE HAVE SOME BIG CHANGES PLUS A NEW LOCATION AND WE ARE HAPPY TO ANNOUNCE THAT LABELLE WILL BE AT THIS YEAR’S PAGEANT. WE HAVE ALSO ADDED MORE TITLES SO THAT WE CAN GIVE MORE MONEY AND MORE TITLES AWAY!!! Approximately 84 BIG TITLES will be awarded!!! This is the year to attend!!!

Beauty at World’s Precious Children is judged 1-50.5 Facial Beauty, 1-20.5 – Poise/Projection/Personality,
and 1-20-.5 Overall Appearance

THERE WILL BE FOUR ALTERNATES IN BEAUTY who will receive beautiful Trophies and Build-a-Bears. Those contestants not placing as an Overall Supreme Winner, Supreme Queen/King, Queen/King, Princess/Prince, or alternate will receive a nice trophy & a Build-a-Bear.

OPTIONAL EVENTS

Supreme Titles are based on the highest scores from total beauty score plus your two highest optional events.
A perfect score from each judge in each optional event is 31.5 points.

GLITZ PHOTOGENIC COMPETITION - This event is optional. Winner in EACH age division will receive a nice TOY
or GIFT. Pictures can be color or black/white. You can enter extra GLITZ photogenic pictures for an additional fee.

NATURAL PHOTOGENIC COMPETITION - This event is optional. Winner in EACH age division will receive a nice
TOY or GIFT. You can enter extra natural photogenic pictures for an additional fee.

CASUALWEAR/SWIMWEAR COMPETITION - This event is optional. It can be custom or off the rack. A winner in each division will receive a nice TOY or GIFT. Two Alternates will receive a gift. There will be a 75 second time limit for Casualwear/Swimwear. Because of safety reasons, no back hand springs or back tucks allowed. Props are allowed but are not necessary. Labelle has a list of songs that you can choose from for this event.

OUTFIT OF CHOICE COMPETITION - This event is optional. You may wear outfit of your choice. A winner in each age division will receive a nice TOY or GIFT. Two alternates will receive a gift. There will be a 75 second time limit for Outfit of Choice. Because of safety reasons, no back hand springs or back tucks allowed. Props are allowed but are not necessary. A second outfit of choice could possibly be added at the door.
You are allowed to bring your own music for Outfit of Choice.
